Showmen Mike and Danny host at the four-star Homecliffe Hotel in Blackpool. Sylvie and Alan have a great view... of the local car wash. And at breakfast, Eva sends her food back twice!


Austrian-born artist Eva hosts in her cosmopolitan B&B, Roundhouse Hotel, on Weymouth seafront. Mike and Danny are shocked by the exposed shower.


Tim and Amelia welcome their rivals to their non-star-rated boutique accommodation, Nearwater, on the south Cornish coast. But Sylvie and Alan aren't sure what 'boutique' means...


Alan and Sylvie host at Watersedge Guest House in Barton on Sea. Mike and Danny waste no time in grumbling about the grime in their room. Can a spot of deer-watching win them over?


It's the final day and the B&Bers meet for one last time to settle some scores and find out how much they've been paid. But some of the hosts' emotions run away with them.


There are high hopes for Sarah and Jean-Pierre's B&B, Sentry Mead. The hosts serve a five-star dinner and breakfast, but Jane feels mugged off and Phil's not keen on the towels.


Alan and Jane welcome their first-ever guests aboard their brand-new, purpose-built hotel boat, the Geanna, and pull out all the stops with a champagne cruise along the Thames.


At The Farmer's Boy Inn in Gloucestershire, pie entrepreneur Phil sets his guests a pie-making challenge. In the morning, the group work up an appetite for breakfast on the bouncy castle.


Dan and Mardi Leonard host at their funky Brighton B&B, Guest and the City, where the guests have mixed reactions to the contemporary decor and stained-glass windows.

Diane and Max are the last to host, at Ombersley Bed & Breakfast in Worcestershire, where there's bickering over gluten-free bread and hand washing, and some underwhelming eggs.


Fun-loving Ann and Bill host at their four-star B&B in Bude, north Cornwall, with Cornish cream tea, a local stick dance, a drink in their garden shed, and 'weekday caviar'.


Jan and William host at their five-star gold-rated B&B, 38 St Giles in Norwich, where their guests have the ride of their lives on the race track and are blown away by breakfast.


The competition begins at luxury weight-loss and detox retreat Slimmeria in East Sussex, owned by Galia and Michael. But what will their guests make of the 9pm curfew?

The final visit of the competition is to The House of Agnes in Canterbury, run by ex-hotel inspector Sandie. But could Sandie's former job backfire on her?

The second visit is to The Little Gloster on the Isle of Wight, where owner and professional chef Ben Cooke shows his guests how to make gravlax and the vodka-based shot akvavit.


Steve and Beverly Green welcome their rivals to Centery Farm in north Devon. Their sheep-herding activity is hit by rain and fog, so the group herd ducks instead.
